These minute organisms, usually so discrete and unexamined, now hold centre stage, having the ability to transform not only the body but society itself. Using materials that do not ordinarily mix well, I show the cracking of established ways of thinking and behaviour through the materials, reflected in both our bodies and the wider environment. I ask you to examine these fragile and visceral works in reference to the beauty of the abhorrent and the fight for dominance in both the cellular and the metalevels of human existence.
