Eugenie Smit

I am a multi-disciplinary artist but have been focussed on sculpture of late.  I mainly work in ceramics at the moment.  My inspiration comes from many sources, nature will always be a big part as I grew up in South Africa surrounded by beauty and wonder.

Other specific interests that draw my attention such as engineering, the way things work together smoothly, fit together, these things captivate me.  I use my art to figure things out for myself, see how it works, see what can be accomplished, learn from it and be excited by it and also push myself.
