I am a Ceramicist, Sculptor, and Painter. My work mainly consists of hand built Ceramic Sculptures and slab rolled wall reliefs. My art embodies characters and designs which depict and reflect Middle Eastern society. My works are not linked with every day’s needs and necessities. According to me, Ceramics are not for the purposes of decorating the exteriors of food plates, water pots or vases, but they are aesthetic valuables in their own right, with roots that go back to Sumerian wall decorations and the Islamic art of mosaic which is rich in Arabic culture.
