Julia Rosewood

After years of being trammelled by a career in social work, I am spreading my wings in retirement and exploring my artistic side, focusing on painting and drawing, so far. I am experimenting with the use of different media: acrylics, watercolour, oils, pastels, pencil, ink and charcoal, and with both representational and more abstract images. I will turn my hand to anything, depending on inspiration and mood! I love to use colour in my work, whether naturalistic or expressionist, and am playing with textures, too. Who knows what I will have produced by September?!
