For the Love of Brentford
Fairview New Homes and Creative Mile are calling on local artists to bring their creativity to life this summer, with an exciting opportunity to be part of a brand-new outdoor art installation, “For the Love of Brentford.”
Set to transform the newly opened canal path behind Fairview’s Printmakers Yard development, the installation will run until spring 2027, turning this scenic stretch into a celebration of art, community, and connection.
Featuring 10 selected artists, the exhibition will be inspired by this year’s Creative Mile theme – love - and become an official fixture of the 2026 Brentford Art Trail.
Artists are invited to submit work across a wide range of mediums, including painting, printmaking, collage, photography, video stills, and even images of three-dimensional pieces.
The chosen artworks will be professionally photographed and curated into a striking open-air gallery, accessible to all who pass along the canal.
Each selected artist will also receive a £50 voucher, courtesy of Fairview, as a token of appreciation for their contribution.
The installation, “For the Love of Brentford,” will be officially unveiled on Saturday 18th July at Printmakers Yard, in what promises to be a lively celebration of local creativity and community spirit.
“For the Love of Brentford” is the latest addition to this thriving cultural landscape. For those wishing to submit artwork for consideration, they can do by filling in this form by Monday 15th June – click here for the submission form.
