Kevin Hendrik

Kevin is a photographer whose work spans multiple disciplines but is always rooted in a common theme: the urban and built environment. He specialises in environmental portraiture, capturing people in real-world settings to show their connection to place — believing that surroundings often tell a deeper story than a studio ever could.Beyond portraits, Kevin applies the same storytelling approach to buildings and objects, focusing on their character and presence within the urban landscape.

At this stage, he’s beginning to seek out paid photography work, but his main focus remains on his own artistic projects and community-driven initiatives.CommunityKevin organises street photography walks in London, open to photographers of all backgrounds and experience levels.

His aim is to create a welcoming, inclusive space where people can practise photography and connect with others who share their passion. He also creates a street photography zine called Lens Distortion every four months, featuring the work of the community. The zine celebrates shared creativity and offers a platform for emerging and established photographers alike.
