Footprints Studio

Footprints Studio was the home and workshop of Joyce Clissold, the renowned hand blocked fabric printer from the 1930s to the early 80s

after relocating from Durham Wharf, Hammersmith.

In its heyday it employed 20 or 30 people and had shops in Knightsbridge

and Bond St.

‍

After her death the house and studio fell into disrepair until it was restored by me and a team of assorted artists,  musicians and builders.

I have occupied the studio ever since.
